Now that we’ve picked up the pace in our run towards December, there’s no getting around Christmas being here in a minute. Which also means it's time to start thinking about what delicious goodies will be filling our tables on the day! It's likely you've mentally checked off what meats will be featuring on the menu, but what about the sides? We've picked out four of our favourite trimmings to help you along...
Who doesn't love roasted potatoes! These will be a crowd favourite - deliciously crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. The combination of Maggie's Extra Virgin Olive Oil and duck fat make these so incredibly moreish!
The simplest of all trimmings that can be whipped up in less that 5 minutes! And to spice things up, we've added a few spoonfuls of Maggie's Dukkah too.
This pretty-as-a-picture salad won't last long, we can promise you that! To save time on the day (and leave more time to celebrate with the family), roast the vegetables the night before. Just make sure to bring them to room temperature before tossing them through the remaining ingredients on the day, or alternatively, lightly refresh them in the oven for 10 minutes at 170C.
With a delicious combination of different textures, this salad will team perfectly with your meats. For the best flavour, grill the cauliflower on the barbecue on Christmas morning before combining with the other ingredients. A great opportunity to try Maggie's new vinaigrette too!
