Black Sausage with Apples & Apple Cider

Step 1: Cut the apple in half and then cut each half into 3 wedges and remove the core, then drizzle with Verjuice, set aside.
Step 2: Place a large non-stick pan over a medium heat, add butter and once nut brown add the olive oil to inhibit the butter from burning. Add the onion to the pan and cook for 5 minutes or until beginning to be caramelised.
Step 3: Pat the apple wedges dry and add to the pan and cook for 3 to 4 minutes till the apple wedges are golden.
Step 4: Push apples and onions to one side and add the black sausage and cook for a further 2 minutes on each side of the cut black sausage , then deglaze with apple cider
30ml 2 tbspn Verjuice
1 tbspn unsalted butter
30ml 2 tbspn Extra Virgin Olive Oil
180g red onion Cut into wedges
180g black sausage Cut into 2cm slices
63ml 1/4 cup apple cider
