Grilled Peaches with Sparkling Chardonnay

Step 1: Cut the peaches in half and remove the stone.
Step 2: Place peach halves and olive oil into a mixing bowl and gently toss together so that peaches are coated.
Step 3: Place a cast iron griddle pan over a high heat and once hot place the peaches cut side down onto the pan and cook for 4 minutes. Turn over peaches and cook on the opposite side for a further 2 minutes.
Step 4: Remove peaches from the heat and place into a serving tray, with the cut side facing up. Drizzle over the sparkling chardonnay and sprinkle over the lime zest.
Step 5: Note- Allow this to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
