Bruschetta Base Recipe

The trick to a good bruschetta is to focus on making the components delicious individually so they sing together. This bready base does just that!

4 slices ciabatta or sourdough (depending on size of base you are after)
1 clove garlic cut in half

To make bruschetta base, heat cast iron griddle pan to very hot, then sear both sides of the bread to show grill marks. Immediately rub each side with cut garlic and drizzle with two tablespoons of Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Set aside until needed.
