Maggie's Verjuice is a huge part of her journey as a cooking icon. She first learned of 'verjus' from French provincial cookbooks, a source of much wisdom. Made of the juice of unripe grapes, Verjuice is a common byproduct of grape farming. Around the same time, the Barossa was experiencing an oversupply of rhine riesling grapes, and thus, Maggie's Verjuice entered the kitchen and she became the first to commercially produce it.

Verjuice is a wonderful companion to a great number of dishes, including roasts, casseroles, pastas, soups, cakes, puddings, salads, mocktails and more. It adds a bit of brightness to dishes, making it a pantry must-have.
