Basic Bircher Muesli Recipe

This basic bircher muesli recipe is simple and easy to adapt to your tastes. The Verjuice and apple juice make it an apple lover's favourite.

2 cups rolled oats
250ml Verjuice
1 cup fresh apple juice
To serve, toasted almond flakes

Collect all your ingredients.

Place the oats into a medium size mixing bowl, pour over the Verjuice and apple juice, cover and allow to soak for up to 12 hours in the fridge.

To serve, remove the bircher from the fridge and give it a good stir, then divide between 4 serving bowls.

Top with seasonal fresh or stewed fruit and sprinkle over the almond flakes.
